Lugano Tigers
The Lugano Tigers represent one of Ticino's historical basketball entities, formed in 1981 from the merger of Federale Lugano (founded in 1942) and Viganello Basket. Colored in black and white, the Tigers have won 12 Swiss championships, most recently in 2014, establishing themselves as one of the most titled teams in Switzerland.

Cantonal Association of Ticino Gymnastics (ACTG)
The Cantonal Ticino Association of Gymnastics (ACTG) was founded on February 20, 1869, and today has about 8,000 members and 34 affiliated clubs, distributed throughout the canton. The ACTG is thus the second largest sports association in the canton. For this reason it can be proud of its centuries-old history and traditions. Gymnastics, however, is above all movement and therefore evolves both organizationally and technically, wanting to ensure a future in step with the times. Gymnastics is as much a source of life for the body as it is for the human and associative experiences that come with it.

Judo / Budo Club Lugano
The Judo Budo Club Lugano is one of the city's leading entities dedicated to martial arts, offering classes in judo, ju-jitsu and related disciplines for children, youth and adults. Active for several decades, the club promotes both training activities and participation in regional and national competitions, contributing to the spread of martial arts throughout Ticino.

Volley ball Cub Lugano
Volleyball Lugano, is one of the most important clubs in Swiss women's volleyball. Founded in 1976, the club dominated the national scene in the 2010s, winning numerous Swiss championships and Swiss Cups, while also participating in European competitions. In addition to the first team, the club operates an extensive youth sector.

Since August 2021, the two city fencing clubs, the historic Circolo Scherma SAL Lugano and the Lugano Scherma Association, have merged into a new entity: the Lugano Fencing Club, which has approximately 170 athletes of all ages, from 5 to nearly 80 years old, making it one of the largest fencing clubs nationwide. Courses offered by the club range from fencing for all to competitive fencing, fencing for people in wheelchairs to therapeutic fencing.

Table Tennis Lugano
The Lugano Table Tennis Society (STTL) was founded on May 11, 1950 under the name Ping Pong Club Lugano by a group of enthusiasts led by Walter Beenen. Today the club has more than 150 members and several active teams in Swiss leagues, from the National League to regional divisions, with activities for youth and adults.
